Trinkets
A friend's son gave me a thank you card for his birthday present. Sure, it was written by his mother, but the kid is very polite and said thank you for his gift when he received it. I even got a bit of art on the thank you card. It's a simple thing to receive, but sometimes it means a lot. While it's in my office currently, it's going on my fridge at home.
It's interesting what one saves in regard to little trinkets we've received over the years. I've got tons of little items tucked away. Items such as a disembodied "Shredder" hand from a fallen action figure, a teddy bear, or even a green feather from a gift years ago - it's interesting to look at each item and see what truly gels from seeing or touching it.

Home Again!
Nothing huge to report, other than I've returned back home.
Trip report and photos in the future.
Peace.
Vacation time!
Well, it's that time of year again. I'm going to be sailing the Caribbean, once again. Only this time, Team Chupacabra does not know anyone else who will be on the boat. "What?", you say? It's f'ing true! Myself, Chud, Joe D, and B-Money will be heading to Miami, then boarding the boat, hitting up Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay, and Nassau. Good times will be had, as they already have on the same ship. "Whaaa?", you say? My first cruise was on the same ship! "Hyjinks?", you say? Yes. There will be, and there was in the past. Here's my pre-cruise post. It's like someone barfed content all over the page... in a good way, I suppose. Then, there's Chud's recaps of the trip. part 1 | part 2And you can't forget Chuddy's recap of the second cruise. Last but not least, when I returned from Cruise #2, we had this bit of comment hilarity. So, some random humor is now needed, right? Clerks in Eternia -- NSFW Nick Frost rules. I want one. And last but not least, a classic... See you later, kids. Labels: cruise, humor, travel

Boxing!
Okay.
I admit it.
This kid would probably kick my ass, if I couldn't punt her.
The kid is quick, and she's got good form. I can only hope to be half as good as this kid at boxing. Labels: boxing, video
