It Lives!
Well, one hundred and thirty dollars later, the Supra is fixed. Had we been intelligent, we would have only spent thirty dollars on the timing belt, instead of buying a coil/igniter assembly. Damn the service manual for not bringing up the timing belt issue.
So the car runs.
The car is for sale.

Blargh!
That's it. Screw sanity. I can't hang on anymore.
Carrrrrr! Me a pirate!
The car's been dead since tuesday, I think. The part hopefully comes in Monday and will hopefully fix the problem. In the mean time, I've been driving the Jeep (a plus), but I need a new car.
Today, good ol' channel 20 airs a half hour commercial for an auto dealership in Utica. I drive out there. I almost bought a 2002 Saturn somethingorother, but it was going to be a little higher in payments than I could afford right now. I think it was better I didn't buy it, but the AC was tempting me. Maybe I should poke my head in a Chevy dealership and snag something while I'm considered an employee (as per their ads...)
Bah.
Let the Supra live a little longer. Just enough to sell itself for a little coin so I can buy something better. I just need more time to kill some credit card damage to make me feel more comfortable.
Beer.
Yes, I need beer. Sweet nectar of the Gods... Labels: car

Falling Apart Recap
"Falling Apart" premiered last night at the Royal Oak Main Art Theatre, to a packed theatre. It was crazy insane, and it was great to see all the actors enjoying the limelight as they saw themselves and their name on the screen. It was amazing to hear people laughing and cheering and gasping as the movie went across the screen. So many people showed up. It was amazing to see something I put a lot of time into end up being well-received and on "the Big Screen," as it were.
I want to thank everyone who came out to the movie, along with our friends and family who have supported Steve, Mike, and myself through this endeavor. Huge thanks to the cast and crew, and especially my parents who have supported me through everything I've ever fathomed doing in my life.
Thank you. Labels: film, filmmaking, JTC Productions, premiere, Scape Films

Goodbye to you.

Last Night: Bars
Two bars last night.
- Vision Lanes Lounge - Monday nights give you $1.50 domestic bottles all night, and karaoke from like 9pm on. Good times. We had to deal with some fairweather Pistons fans, which sucked, but the Pistons won game 7, so hells yes. Unfortunately, they didnt kick on the skinimax like other nights.
- Herman's Lowertown Grill - This place is a decent bar, just outside of downtown Plymouth. I've got friends who can usually be found there, and they have a great beer selection. If they pick up King's Brewery's line (especially the Mocha Java Stout), I'd live there. Bell's Oberon flowed well.
Beer is great. Labels: bar
Adventures in Bars?
I think I'll have to start critiquing and blogging about the bars I go to.
That is, when I have some money again.
Buy my car, fuckers. Labels: bar
bar.
I went drinking with Rev, Sarah, and Jeremy the Loner. Good times. I'm in no way drunk, which sucks, but then again, I only spent $10, and $4 of that was on cheap shots that were supposed to be jello shots for the group, but weren't.
Yeah.
Good times. Labels: bar
A list
Notes from my life recently: - It's hot as all hell outside.
- I'll probably wait till nine or ten to go for a ride, due to the heat, but it will probably storm by then.
- I have a a vague look at my long-term future.
- I don't know what to do with my life anymore.
- I'm re-evaluating everything and everyone.
- A Bud Light longneck or a pitcher of Killian's would be godsent right now.
- Pistons better win game seven.

Stuff
I booked my hotel room for BeastBuzz, so that's all set. Nothing is really going on with me except that Falling Apart is premiering at the Royal Oak Main Art Theatre. The showtime is 7:30 pm on June 15th, 2005. Tickets are $10/each.
Other than that, not much is really happening.
Oh yeah. My birthday is coming up. Labels: falling apart, film, filmmaking, JTC Productions, premiere, Scape Films
Drunk!
After the Pistons game (Detroit Basketball!), I had a few more drinks, then came home and imbibed more. I'm drunk. I'm glad I showed a lot of restraint in my emailing tonight. There are things I've been wanting to say and ask people for months and years. I didn't do that. I'm glad.
Drunk Joe is WAY too honest.
So, here's to my brethren who get way too honest when drunk.
You all have my respect.
