Fell On Black Days

Whatsoever I've feared has
Come to life
Whatsoever I've fought off
Became my life
Just when everyday
Seemed to greet
Me with a smile
Sunspots have faded
And now I'm doing time
Cause I fell on
Black days

Whomsoever I've cured
I've sickened now
Whomsoever I've cradled
I've put you down
I'm a search light soul
They say but I can't
See it in the night
I'm only faking
When I get it right
Cause I fell on
Black days
How would I know
That this could be my fate

So what you wanted to
See good has made you blind
And what you wanted to
Be yours has made it
Mine
So don't you lock up
Something that you
Wanted to see fly
Hands are for shaking
No not tying

I sure don't
Mind a change
But I fell on black
Days
How would I know
That this could be
My fate

Tired of Sex

I'm tired, so tired
I'm tired of having sex (so tired)
I'm spread so thin
I don't know who I am (who I am)

Monday night I'm making Jen
Tuesday night I'm making Lynn
Wednesday night I'm making Jasmine
Oh, why can't I be making love come true?

I'm beat, beet red
Ashamed of what I said (what I said)
I'm sorry, here I go
I know I'm a sinner
But I can't say no (say no)

Thursday night I'm making Denise
Friday night I'm making Therese
Saturday night I'm making Louise
Oh, why can't I be making love come true?

Tonight I'm down on my knees
Tonight I'm begging you please
Tonight, tonight, oh please
Oh, why can't I be making love come true?

Clear!

James and I were discussing life and recent events and we've deep six'ed our PA coaster trip. It saves on travel expenses and it frees me up to do some things like Ronan's first birthday party, and to see some friends if everyone is all well.

Tea seems to be the drink to crush the cough which is driving me mad, but the cough itself is dwindling. I'm back at work and earning my pennies. Once the plague goes completely away, I'm looking at possible places for second employment.

WTF?

While at Cedar Point on Wednesday, I contracted a big-ass sinus infection which has caused me to shiver uncontrollably, even while lying in my bed fully clothed, bed cranked up to max, with a green and black fleece blanket encompassing the whole friggin' mess.

Today, I'm down to 99 degrees, and am sweating insetead of shivering. Yeah. I'll take that.

My huge coaster trip may not happen now, which seems to be a nice weight being lifted since I just took a look at the only credit card I allow myself to use, and well... It's a bit fuller than what I expected. If the trip does happen, then it becomes the shortened version of Dorney Park and Kennywood.

I think it's about time to ebay some crap and roll up the change I've been saving.

A question posed...

I was recently asked the question why I spend a lot of time in the sumer at various amusement parks. I rattled off some statement during the heated conversation it occurred in, but I thought about it almost the entire time on my ten mile ride last night.

"Why do I like taking these coaster trips?"

Here's what I came up with:

  • They're fun.

  • It gives me tales to tell.

  • What else do I have to do?

You see, I go because I do enjoy it, but it's not like I really have someone to share my time with. I don't have a significant other to send my time with. I don't have a lot of things that I really want.

Wow. And I'm not even drunk. We can file this one under "Posts I should be drunk to write or just post in an LJ".

Garden

the direction of the eye
so misleading
the defection of the soul
nauseously quick

I don't question
our existence
I just question
our modern needs

I will walk...with my hands bound
I will walk...with my face blood
I will walk...with my shadow flag
into your garden
garden of stone

after all is done
we're still alone
I won't be taken
yet I'll go...

I will walk...with my hands bound
I will walk...with my face blood
I will walk...with my shadow flag
into your garden
garden of stone

I don't show...
I don't share...
I don't need
what you have to give...

Fun Facts

I'm a cold, heartless, mean, jerk of a dick.

Is this news to anyone?

Cedar Point recap

Saturday sent James K, Phil and I off to Cedar Point for Opening Day. Once we booted Phil off at the front for the season pass line, James and I headed to the Soak City lot and in the back enterance. We stopped at Magnum and ran into Aaron who was planning on marathoning the newly-painted ride. We managed to get on the first train of the season and quickly found out that while they did fix the axle on the blue train, they only painted half the ride. Rumor has it that it will be finished in Steptember. Phil met us after the pass line and we rode a total of ten times on Magnum before moving on.

We saw Top Thrill Dragster was having technical difficulties, so we headed on down to Power Tower for a space shot, then on down to Wicked Twister for a fifteen minute wait. James and I went on Disaster Transport, and watched Maxair's technical difficulties. We then wandered down to the Red Garter for a beer, but then we changed our minds and went to Breakwater Cafe on the other side of Camper Village.

Since Breakwater Cafe didn't open till May 27th, we left the park and ate some chow at "East of Chicago" pizza buffet. After being there for around an hour, we migrated down the street for $1.50 beers and well drinks. Eventually, we wandered back to the park for more rides. Phil and I went to ride Top Thrill Dragster while James met up with Jake and Amber in the Season Pass line. We managed a front seat ride after an hour and a half wait (including the front seat wait), and slid in a Raptor ride before meeting up again with James for another Raptor ride.

We went over to Wicked Twister again and got a lap after five minutes, then went over to the Millennium Force midway so Jake and Amber could ride "the Force" and Phil went back to the front of the park for a while. James and I were people watching until Julie and her friend showed up and hung out. Once the group reassembled, we went to Magnum for a lap before the park closed, then headed to Dianna's restaurant for food before the drive home.

Wednesday, I go back to Cedar Point. I hope the lines are even shorter.

Assorted junk.

It's Friday. Finally.

Any big plans? Yeah.

  • Friday - Peaj's recognition night, which I assume is like a graduation. I have no idea. I have no idea what this entails or how long it is. Is it a party? Is there an "after-party"? I have no idea.

  • Saturday - Cedar Point and Geauga Lake for opening day. It will be nice to ride all the old favorites again and just take my mind off things for a day.

  • Sunday - Mother's day. I'm sure there's a dinner or something planned. Who knows.

Last night, I met up with James K for some conversation about the upcoming "PA Trip", which we've decided we would play completely by ear. It's crazy. We ended up doing some people watching outside the Livonia Panchero's and saw Mike Park and his chick. Then I drove home blaring Pearl Jam's "Ten" album, and did absolutely nothing for the rest of the night.

Biatches.

Monday Morning

The weekend.

Friday was largely uneventful, but I had lunch with Peaj, so we got to catch up on life a little bit. I completely crashed at eight PM that night and managed twelve hours of sleep.

Saturday was largely boring until I saw "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" with Rev and Chud. Good flick, and as far as I remember, it stayed with the book pretty well, but felt rushed. We then all drove out to my friend Dave's place for a party, which was interesting in itself.

Sunday was a boring day until I Went to Byrd's for a WWE PPV.

That's it. I'm out.
