Livonia closing schools
Livonia is looking at shutting down seven elementary schools, and modifying two elementary schools and one middle school due to declining enrollment.
Read this article at DetNews.com. If it needs to be done, I understand, but man, that really sucks to hear. Livonia needs a new crop of kids.

that's kinda gross... in a hot way. yeah, joe, i've been talking about this with my neighbor who's a stevenson teacher. the original thoughts were that 6th grade was coming out of the elementary no matter how you looked at it. it was originally thought they would do k-5, then 6-9, and highschool 10-12. then there was debate of possibly 6-7 in one school, and 8-9 in another. i hadn't heard shit about pulling 5th graders out... but hey, whatever, they do what they want. it's all good though, except for the inevitable teacher layoffs that assume are forthcoming. but hey, sucks to be them but i'm alright.
