Labor Day Weekend

I don't understand why the oil companies are jacking up prices to screw us all. I wanted to travel this weekend, but with the price of gas, I'm surprised I leave the house at all. I mean, seriously.

The plans were to hit up the Ren Fest this Sunday, and hit Cedar Point on Monday to take advantage of the short lines. Now, I'm hitching a ride with the 'rents to Fest, and not hitting Cedar Point unless my dad decides he wants to go. Make it one of those last remaining father/son trips.

That, and packing.

I'm sure I'll be doing labor on Labor day.

Woo.

blame investors dude. the oil companies haven't been the ones raising the prices. it's the damn investors. since oil is an openly traded commodity, and the price keeps going up, people keep buying. which is why, when the price per barrel does start to drop due to diminishing returns because of high prices stopping joe everage from driving, the price will drop sharply. it'd be nice if EVERYONE sold their shares then. could bankrupt OPEC and make gas a nickel a gallon. hehehehe. anyhow, that's my economic rant for the day.
