Panchero's

Ok. I have to wonder...

There's a new Panchero's at Six Mile and Haggerty. FOr those not in the know of Panchero's, its like Mexican food, but fresh and express, unlike Taco Bell, which is good, but definitely not fresh. You can watch these bastards cook tortillas for your meal as you order. They throw dough into a heated press and three seconds later, BAM! Fresh tortilla.

James K and I poked our heads in there expecting that it would be like the Ann Arbor location -- Mexicans who barely spoke English, making food for people who wanted Mexican fast.

No dice.

College kids speaking ENGLISH. That ruins the entire appeal. I liked using my three year old equivilent knowledge of Spanish to order and be that guy who orders thinking he's cool by using Spanish that I could have picked up off of Sesame Street. It makes me wonder if its as good if I'm not drunk. I'll have to see.

We went to Potbelly's instead.

Decent sandwich, retarded employees.

I may try the new Panchero's today though.
