Weekend Update

Well, it's Sunday.

A long sleepless weekend was had. I think I'm contracting someone's insomnia, while they are getting my sleep time. Sometimes, life isn't fair. It really isn't when I have only had two nights of good sleep in the last three or four years.

The weekend rundown:

Friday night, I did some running around the metro area, running some needed errands and whatnot, then went over to Ming's for some Chicken Broccoli, and over to ABC Warehouse to look at replacement VCRs. Since mine is dying, I figure I might as well. After taking some time at home, I headed out to the Affection for the Underdog show in Novi, and then... Well, home.

Saturday, I began the day at eight AM, clocking about three hours of sleep. Yay me. I did some light auto care and some cleaning, and partook in the traditional watching of the Evil Dead. Only partially, though, and I struggled to nap during the flick to no avail. I visited a some friends briefly, and spent most of the day laying around in a slumberless stupor. The end of the evening brought a viewing of "the Forgotten", a walk through the Redford Jaycee's haunted house, and a beer. I was running on my Nth wind, since I had no rememberance of how many winds I had taken.

Today, I hooked up the editing PC, and so far, everything is running well. I've done a few rendering tests, and all my footage remained intact. I can cut, I can transition. I can render. I may very well be back in business. I'll have to take some time and clip some stills from the Falling Apart rough cut I have laying around, and throw them up on my page under the JTC Productions banner.

That's it for now.
