Latest Crap
I've felt very taxed lately. It might be rooted in my lack of sleep lately, which then causes me to be restless, and that's where I think I developed this crick in my neck. It hasn't been all that well, and most of the people I've surrounded myself with lately have been under all kinds of stress, so it seems to carry over to me. I don't mind, as I have no problem helping my friends carry the load. These people mean a hell of a lot to me, so I'll do anything for them.
Editing the wedding footage I talked about in a previous entry has shown me why I loathe the thought of shooting a wedding. True, I had to shoot the damn thing with the bride's father's shitty camcorder (also known as the world's most ghetto video equipment), but I hate working when my friends are celebrating. I only get asked to shoot friends weddings, and I'll be damned if I'm ever falling into that trap again. Technically, I've shot two weddings, but in one, I was involved in the ceremony, so dad shot that. All I did was shoot some people saying congrats, the cake cutting, and then edited it all together.
"Mistake" has been put on hold for the time being, until we can get a lead actor. You can find more information about this role right here.
I'm bummed I am no longer going with CartoonLarry to a film shoot in Columbus, but due to the work office moving and the onset of "Mistake", I had to cancel. Now that both hinderances have cleared up, I didn't have the cash to go, but I do have the time... So, luckily, some friends cohoerced me into a Cedar Point trip, which I'm heading out on, season pass in hand. I've been wary of going for a few reasons, but I think it will be good for me to take a break from the life around here, even if for one day. I don't feel comfortable being away for longer than a day, for some reason.
